‘&intoconnection’ is a movement that inspires people to connect with the aim to contribute to a better world: ‘Together we’ll build a brighter future’.
On the 21st of June 2009 we will present the outcome of a worldwide research into connection in the form of a book, in 14 main cities of the researched countries: Beijing, Berlin, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Cape Town, London, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Paris, Tokyo, Utrecht. On this day 14,000 blue balls are spread around the world. With this event ‘&intoconnection goes glo-ball’ we announce and share our knowledge and connect with other people.
Connection research
For the first time in history a global research has been conducted into connection. In 14 counties ‘&intoconnection’ researched what it means to people to be strongly or weakly connected.
This research is very valuable for people: for individuals, for relatives, for organisations and for society. The research in fact proves that connection has a positive influence on the lives of people.
Strongly connected people know what they are able to do and what they want. They can connect better with others as well. It is proven that strongly connected people have much more fun in their lives and work. They are not only happier but more succesful as well. However the research does show there is a lot to be improved in the area of connection.

We offer free means of help in order for people to connect with themselves and others, for example the connection index and the personal vision. On this website, we will keep you informed on coming events, more research data and helpful tools to improve connection between people.

Connection Index
The Connection Index is an instrument that measures your level of connection. By filling out the questionnaire, you get immediate insight in the connection with yourself, with others, with your organisation and with society. Your results are presented in a final score: That is the Connection Index! Your outcome will be compared to an average score. It’s a way to help you become more conscious about the way you actually are connected and how to improve yourself. So, please fill out the questionnaire. The blue ball of connection
A ball invites people to play. When you introduce a ball to a group of people – even if they do not know each other – someone will give it a kick. Someone will throw it towards another person. Without thinking, people will engage themselves in a game, however simple it may be. When given a ball, everyone will have a moment of careless fun. Without words, a ball will connect people with each other in a fun and careless way. Because of this special ability, we have chosen a ball as the symbol of connection.
Blue represents inspiration. Like the sky, the colour blue refers to limitless possibilities, to making dreams come true. Like the sea, the inspiration of the colour blue embodies enormous depths. Mysterious, fascinating and full of life. Therefore, the ball of connection is blue.
